If I had to choose a city in Greece to stay in besides Thessaloniki, it would be Ioannina without a second thought. It's a place that won me over, as soon as I set foot in it. A place with unique natural beauty, good food, "lively" everyday life, but a lot of rain!

Many people know Veria only from revani (traditional greek sweet). Oxymoron considering that we are talking about one of the oldest cities in Greece, with references to Thucydides from the classical era! A town rich in sights and history, natural beauty and Macedonian hospitality.

If you are nature lovers and love tradition, then Zagorochoria is the ideal place for you. A gifted place, with pristine and unpretentious beauty, that breeds passions and emotions. Well-preserved Epirus architecture, unique natural landscapes, authentic flavors, original hospitality from people tied to their place. What else to ask for;

Admittedly, Florina is a city that does not have the respect and attention it deserves. Oxymoron if you consider that this is a place drowned in greenery, full of unspoiled natural landscapes. Mountains, forests, lakes and rivers create a spectacular earthly paradise. Add to all this, the rich history of the city, the elegant architectural buildings, the Macedonian hospitality and the whole will certainly not leave you complaining.

If we were looking for the princess of Western Macedonia, then Kastoria would surely take this title with ease. One of the most charming places to visit in northern Greece, with unique natural beauty, impressive mansions, Byzantine temples and a combination of tradition and modernity that is difficult to meet elsewhere.

In north Greece we are used to saying “there is nothing like Halkidiki”. But within its exaggeration, this particular phrase hides truths.
